Goa – History, Culture & Beaches Educational Tour

Delhi NCR October to March is highly recommended as this is the preferred period for schoo...

Overview

Goa, India's smallest state, is known for its beautiful beaches, Portuguese colonial heritage, vibrant culture and rich history. This educational tour offers students an opportunity to explore Goa's history, architecture, culture, biodiversity and coastal geography. Students explore historic Old Goa, coastal landscapes, forts, museums, beaches and local communities while learning how tourism, culture and environmental conservation interact. The tour is designed as much more than a beach trip – it combines Portuguese and Indian heritage, architecture, history, marine and coastal ecology, local culture, geography, tourism and environmental awareness.

Best Time to Visit

October to March is highly recommended as this is the preferred period for school groups because of generally comfortable weather and good conditions for outdoor sightseeing. November to February is ideal and particularly suitable for heritage walks, beaches, outdoor activities and sightseeing. March to May is possible, although temperatures become warmer. June to September: Goa's monsoon brings substantial rainfall and lush greenery, but is less suitable for a conventional school sightseeing itinerary because heavy rain can affect outdoor activities.
