Why Do This Tour? – Benefits to Students

Real-Life Biology Learning – Students observe living organisms in their natural environment instead of studying them only from textbooks.
Understand Bird Diversity – Students learn that different birds have different beaks, feet, body shapes, feeding habits and habitats.
Learn About Migration – Students understand why some birds travel long distances seasonally in search of food, suitable temperatures, breeding grounds and safe habitats.
Understand Wetland Ecosystems – Students learn how wetlands support birds, fish, insects, plants and microorganisms.
Study Food Chains – Students can practically understand: Plants → Insects/Fish → Birds → Predators.
Develop Observation Skills – Students learn to observe without disturbing wildlife. They can record bird appearance, movement, calls, feeding behaviour, habitat and group behaviour.
Environmental Awareness – Students understand why wetlands and natural habitats need protection.
Learn Responsible Tourism – Students practise: No littering, no feeding birds, no loud noise, staying on designated paths, respecting wildlife.
Improve Scientific Curiosity – Students can investigate questions such as: Why do birds have different beaks? Why do birds migrate? Why do birds prefer wetlands? How does water availability affect wildlife?
Encourage Teamwork – Group-based bird identification and field activities develop communication, leadership, cooperation and patience.
Connect Multiple Subjects – The tour combines Biology, Geography, Environmental Science, Ecology, Conservation and Photography.
